  1. Thank you so much for posting this! It really helped! I just started a dance blog and I am having trouble with finding photos. How do you post your photos that are copyrighted? Did you ask permission? It’s just I am having a lot of trouble trying to avoid getting sued. Haha. 🙂

    1. Hi Hannah! Good for you for starting a blog! As far as photos go, most of the photos here are either of me or ones I took. I actually purchased my performances photos from the photographer a LONG time ago but he would still let me use them as long as I credit them. Try and credit the photographer. That might help. You are welcome to steal any of mine I have here or on Facebook. All I ask is that you credit them! All the best to you! Kathryn

  2. Hi Kathyrn, I have done ballet since i was 5 years old and stopped when I was 10. I’ve done 1 year of pointe work on my last year of dance. When I was 13 i started dancing again but I did not do ballet or any pointe work. I am now 15 years old I want to know that is it too late for me to continue my ballet training? I want to train over the summer and work up my technique. I know it wont be easy but I am determined to work. I want to audition for a top ballet school. I fear that if I train for this, it wont work out in the end or if i dont stick with it I will regret it. Im very confused and I don’t know if I should just continue dance for fun rather than a professional career.

  3. First off, I would like to thank you for your amazing videos and posts! They are extremely helpful and inspirational! secondly, I am naturally left turner and my extensions are better on the left side. Will this effect me negatively in the future? Thanks again!

  4. I have just discovered your YouTube channel and have been watching your videos for the past 3 hours! I am just wondering what Freed pointe shoe maker and size you wore before and what maker and size you were refitted for. Do you have any suggestions on how to find the right maker or pointe shoe in general?

    1. Welcome to my blog! I actually just moved from Freeds to Blochs. In Freed I was in a 6 NO x which was WRONG – Now I am in a 6 1/2 xxx. Yes- PAINFUL. So much happier now!
