Today’s barre workout was designed to strengthen and improve your turnout. Make sure you are rotating from the hip, using the whole leg. If you really think about the muscles you want to strengthen, you will improve that much faster.

I tried this out to add a little more structure to the warm-up class I give myself before teaching kids classes, or if rehearsals get in the way of my own class, and it really helps me stay focused and not get too picky over any one aspect of my technique or overlook anything important. Definitely useful for ballet students who have crazy schedules or work a lot on their own!
